PLANT GROWTH REGULATOR COMPOSITION AND ACTIVE INGREDIENT OF THE SAME

The Claims

  1. A plant growth regulation composition which is basically an aqueous solution of active ingredient, wherein the distinctive feature is represented by the active ingredient: an ester of oxaloacetic acid of the following general formula:

wherein R1 and R2 are each independently selected from С1–С18-alkyl groups, or a salt of the ester, or a mixture thereof; therewith, the containing of the active ingredient corresponds to concentration from 10–11 М to 10–3 М.

  1. The composition of claim 1, wherein the salt of an ester of oxaloacetic acid comprises the sodium salt of dimethyloxaloacetate.
  2. The composition of claim 1, wherein the salt of an ester of oxaloacetic acid comprises the sodium salt of diethyloxaloacetate.
  3. The composition of claim 1, wherein an organic solvent is added to basic formulation.
  4. The composition of claim 4, wherein the organic solvent comprises dimethylsulfoxide.
  5. An active ingredient of a plant growth regulation composition, said active ingredient being an ester of oxaloacetic acid of the general formula:

wherein R1 and R2 are each independently selected from С1–С18-alkyl groups, or is a sault of the ether, or a mixture thereof.

  1. The active ingredient of claim 6, wherein the salt of an ester of oxaloacetic acid comprises the sodium salt of dimethyloxaloacetate.
  2. The active ingredient of claim 6, wherein the salt of an ester of oxaloacetic acid comprises the sodium salt of diethyloxaloacetate.
